Greg O’Brien will be speaking and signing copies of his book On Pluto: Inside the Mind of Alzheimer’s on Jan. 15 at 5:30pm at Bunker Hill Community College. This event is presented by the MGH Institute of Health Professions as part of the “2015 Ann W. Caldwell President’s Lecture: Interprofessional Rounds.”
Greg O’Brien’s book, a top-seller on Amazon, also has been named one of the Boston Globe’s top 10 local best sellers in non-fiction.
Award-winning journalist Greg O’Brien, who has spent more than 35 years as a writer, editor, investigative reporter, and publisher, received the crippling diagnosis of early-onset Alzheimer’s in 2009 at the age of 59. O’Brien’s memoir On Pluto documents his courageous journey living with Alzheimer’s, rather than dying from it.
